Players brought or borrowed their 24 AP Hordes of the Things armies to the back of the miniatures hall, throwing down the dice and barking out challenges. Four full rounds were played using the Berkeley scoring system and the proposed 2.1 HOTT amendments.
The numbers of aerial figures were larger than usual, but for the most part the armies maintained a typical consist. Several groups of Orcs and Elves, as well as Aliens and Badgers were thrown into the mix, and even my flightless birds managed to make it out for the contest. |
